A 22-year-old Ottawa man who took his computer in
for repairs ended up being charged with possession of
child pornography.
Ottawa police said a computer repair shop made a complaint
in February after a customer brought in a computer for
repairs.
"Some (videos) are pretty graphic," said
Det. Dan Melchiorre, of the high tech crime unit.
Melchiorre said the children in the videos are as young
as two years old.
Craig Winchester is charged and scheduled to appear
at a show cause hearing this afternoon at the Elgin
St. courthouse.
